No account, no sign-up

You can use the mortgage recast calculator and read every guide on this site without creating an account or giving us your name, email, or any other personal detail. We don't ask, and we don't track you across the web.

Your calculator inputs stay in your browser

The numbers you type into the calculator — your loan balance, interest rate, term, and lump sum — are processed entirely on your device. To make your next visit convenient, we save these inputs in your browser's localStorage. This data never leaves your browser and is never sent to our servers or anyone else's. You can clear it any time by clearing your browser's site data.

Privacy-friendly analytics

We use Cloudflare Web Analytics to understand which pages are popular and how the site performs. It is privacy-first: it uses no cookies, does not fingerprint visitors, and collects only aggregate, anonymized measurements. We can't identify you from this data.

Advertising

We may display ads through Google AdSense to keep the site free. When ads are active, Google and its partners may use cookies to serve and measure ads, including personalized ads based on your prior visits to this and other sites. Your choices

You can block or delete cookies through your browser settings and clear localStorage at any time. Doing so won't break the calculator — you'll just need to re-enter your numbers on your next visit.
